Yes. The recipient can spend their entire balance with one retailer or divide the funds among as many brands as they like. This makes the smart eGift card far more flexible than a traditional single-brand gift card, perfect whether they have something specific in mind or want to spread it across a few treats.
Smart eGift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The recipient will see the expiry date clearly when they receive their gift, giving them plenty of time to redeem it with the retailer of their choice.
Each contributor covers a small processing fee on top of their chosen contribution amount. This ensures the recipient receives the full amount the group intended to give, so none of the pot is eaten up by fees.
Yes. If your plans change, the organiser can cancel the pot at any time before the card is sent. All contributors will receive an automatic refund to their original payment method. Refunds are processed securely through Stripe.
Yes. All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store card details on our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and used by millions of businesses worldwide, including many major household names.
No. Individual identities and contribution amounts are completely private. The organiser can only see the total number of contributors and the overall pot amount.
The pot simply collects whatever the group contributes; there's no target to hit. This keeps things relaxed and removes any pressure on contributors. The recipient gets whatever the group pools together.
If the pot has a zero balance when the time comes to send, no smart eGift card is included and it is delivered as a standard group card. You can still send a wonderful card full of heartfelt messages.
